Say "Hi" to Chul-su ... Who? #SquidGame
And while Season 2 of Squid Game has since premiered on Netflix, I instead started watching Check In Hanyang and Namib, but am ironically posting THIS image, simply because it is "pop-culturally-recognisable"
Everyone say hi to Chul-su, for Season 3 of Squid Game, coming 2025.

The significance of this is obvious - at least to this blog - that there'll be collectible figures made, and that they'll inevitably be posed right next to their YOUNG-HEE toy figures...! LOL
WHO-IS: "Young-hee, along with Cheol-su, are based on the characters of the same name who appeared on the covers of Korean textbooks titled Chul-soo and Young-hee." (Source / Book cover image via + @aashmxn1). The character's name is never truly evoked in the actual KDrama itself though.
In Squid Game (Season 1), Young-hee is the giant animatronic doll seen in the "Red Light, Green Light", and has a motion sensor that detects when player move during the game. The character design has yielded a by-now-iconic representation of "Squid Game" (alongside the Pink Soldier(s)), and a pop culture phenom where even folks cosplay or don her guise during Halloween. Will her "boyfriend" Chul-su garner the same infamy/popularity?
