Toy Review: REX-G7 from Machine56 X Devil Toys
I review the EVA-themed colorway "REX-G7" sofubi (*which debuted exclusively at Jakarta Toys & Comics Fair 2025 (What: ), first filmed on Instagram-Live (Currently watchable here / re-uploaded on YT, video embedded below ) ... and YES, I actually "found" the baseball bat" accessory in the bag AFTER filming this review (*So please do bear that in mind, as I rambled open about "accessories" in the video below ~ D'OH!)!
Character designed by Machine56, sofubi produced by Devil Toys, there are/were TWO Editions to this figure: Painted Purple ((DT/01-NV.1A - PURPLE) and Tinted Clear Purple (DT/01-NV.1C - PURPLE-CLEAR), available 50/50 ratio "blind bagged"! See images below of the editions, as well a look at the "head" underneath the helmet, which I did not manage to pry open LOL
This EVA/Evangelion Unit 01-themed neon-green+yellow-on-purple colorway is the second edition to be released of this collectible figure, with THIS red+black+white colorway unleashed during Taipei Toy Festival 2024! Would be hella epic to see these side-by-side tho! "TOY OF THE YEAR"-Contender, I insist!
