So there was a SECOND sculpture from coarse created for TOYS AS ART gallery show since opened at Corey Helford Gallery (Exhibits thru April 19, 2025), celebrating Mattel's 80the Anniversary...! Introducing HE-MAN FULLY LOADED / SKELETOR SHOOTING BLISS!




On first glance, looks to be a straight-forward depiction of He-Man atop a stead and a Skeletor, both aiming their weapon toward the unknown/unseen target... then the surrounding and weapons catch your attention :)

Sized 18-inches (He-Man) and 13.5-inches (Skeleton), both RESIN sculptures are editions of 2, with availability seekable via coarse.gallery.



"When @mattelcreations invited us to bring Masters of the Universe into the world of coarse, we wanted to make a bold series that spoke to how the heroes of our childhood stay with us as we get older. In these two sculptures, the tension between He-Man and Skeletor is heightened by a creamy vibrancy as motifs from our Lustre of Life series surround them. Perched atop bases made of American walnut wood, the duo continues to stand proudly on the pedestals we have always placed them."
