#TOYSREVILPOPUP5 Has Ended - Thank You.

Iā€™ve always enjoyed "vending", or at the least the notion of a "flea market", borne from the beyond days of Sunday Market in The Substation (in the 90s), to Clarke Quay in the early 2000s (not so much China Square Central tho, enjoying it more during my weekly Sunday visits more lol) ā€¦ and the realization now at my pop-ups in Katong Square, has become more of the joy of meeting people (the introvert that I have become), and of sharing with like-minded or even interested folks!

To be able to listen to, and share stories of nostalgia, geekdom (bless them for ā€œpersonal stories" like; "I used to watch this with my dadā€?")ā€¦ and in a way mirrors what I do, and have been doing with the TOYSREVIL-blog for 20 years too, where I continue to share toynews and my geekdom for (related) pop-culture...! At the same time right now offering up my trading card collection from nearly 3 decades ago, is quite the experience and nostalgia-reinvigoration. My "fear" is that "nostalgia is easily forgotten" (duh), but to keep it alive costs (rental of table, transpo etc), or if I had chosen to do so for 2 decades, ramble about it online.

That said, #TOYSREVILPOPUP5 (my 5th flea vending) is done and dusted, items stored in my Toyogo boxes, and once the opportunity comes for the next pop-up, it'll be time for a rejigging and repricing of offerings and a turnover of "new" preloved goodies ... Meanwhile, here are assorted images and videos I'd uploaded on my socials (predominantly Insta) during the 3 days at Katong Square, cheers.

And to friends who had taken the time and trouble to turn up and caught up = MUCH THANKS for your support, and MUCH LOVE!
