Punch-kun

"Punch" is the given name to a baby monkey (a 7-month-old macaque) currently housed at Ichikawa City Zoo, outside Tokyo. He was rejected at birth by his mother, and had since been cared for by his zoo-keepers, who had given him a large (orange colored) orangutan plush toy to keep him company.

We have seen images and videos on the internet of him clinging to his plush, as he adjusts to a new enclosure of fellow monkeys, to be accepted into the tribe. We've seen him alone and shunned...we've seen him swung around by larger monkeys ... and now apparently he is being embraced by his simian brethren...? And of course we have fan-art...!
