ROLL CALL for Marvel Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 Season 2

"X-Men '97" is essentially a revival of "X-Men: The Animated " (1992–1997) produced by Marvel Studios Animation, with Season 1 broadcast 2024, and Season 2 scheduled to premiere "July 1st" on Disney+. Further info via Wiki, cheers.

And while I had been obsessed with the comicbooks and even the blister carded action figures (for a brief "period of insanity" :p), I've never really consumed the animated series, or any animated form for that matter.

My 90s consisted of serving the army, getting my first job, and my second job leading to my first feature film, so I was kinda distracted, or to be fair - I had chosen my distractions, and the animated series got "left behind", so my connection to it - for all intents and purposes - was relevancy to this blog, and perhaps a "longing" to consuming this ...? The "fear" being that I too will be consumed by this, as I had been for the comicbooks and toys before ~ LOL



Perhaps having watched and enjoyed the live-action films helped sate my desires, to venture beyond, even to "anime", and hence never relished the opportunity to do so, even when the series dropped in 2024... yes, I have yet to watch a single episode of "X-Men '97", and I knew if I did so, was for the benefit of this blog, rather than my own desire/preference.

No "hate", or perhaps I did not enjoy the behind-the-scenes drama associated with this series (which I will not address) to want to engage in. But blogging about them and featuring promos is all good LOL

The above "Roll Call" certainly helped in reminding me of the characters I'd recognize from the source, and brings back fond memories of specific storylines from the cpomicbooks, and appreciate said-Roll Call in introducing the character perhaps to a brand new audience, which is to me as important a step in engaging the interests of folks who know naught of what they'll get into :p
