... i wonder if these school-uniform-clad girls (on display
beside EVA-Pullips) are also part of the EVA-lore?

EDIT: thanks to an 'Anonymous'-tipster, tis Rei and Asuka
in their school-uniforms, true to the anime - *heh*:p

WHAT ARE PULLIPS?:
Pullip is a doll created by the Korean company Chunsang Chunha and marketed by JUN Planning of Japan. First released in 2003, Pullip is distinguished by her over-sized head (most likely inspired by the popular Blythe doll) and highly articulated body. Pullip also has a unique eye mechanism that allows her eyes to move back and forth and wink via controls on the back of her head. Each doll comes with a unique outfit and accessories, and later dolls have trading cards and a stand. Each doll has their own distinct personality and style, which is summed up with a statement for each doll on their promotional poster that ends in "...Feel Like So". [wiki]

everytime i see Pullip figures (online or in-person), i'll always remember my virgin (and only) toy-shopping trip to HongKong years ago, when i very nearly started collecting Pullips (i'd by then already had my first Blythe :p) ... in the end i resisted and never did start, while ironically it was my friend, Marc (who had tried to con convince me to start); who eventually started collecting instead ... *heh* :p
