you'd know/recognize him as the sneaker customizer / apparel-designer; Methamphibian, while i know of him better as "Anti-Personnel"; the awesome 1/6th-customizer on the OSW-board. (sorry folks, different "priorities" LOL) and tho i know not of him "personally", his works have more than inspired me [tagged] and now that he has an upcoming Solo Exhibit @ Kazuo HQ (Sept 15th) as part of the Mountain Dew / Green Label Art artist series [info] = and i smile an inner-smile of pride (guilty-by-association with a hobby - 'lame', you say? hell, i dun care LOL)

"Methamphibian is a globally recognized artist gaining fame from his revered ability for sneaker customization. In the past he has worked with NIKE, Manchester United, Undefeated, Essense Japan, and Fiberops Hong Kong. More recently he has collaborated as part of DC Shoe’s Artist Projects in creating a brand new silhouette and subsequently touring the shoe across Europe and the US. Methamphibian has never held a solo show of his artwork, this show will a first for those who attend. Mountain Dew’s Green Label Art project recently tapped Methamphibian to design a limited edition bottle, the “Tundra,” and in support for his efforts, have set a venue for Methamphibian to show his work.

The primary dedication of Methamphibian is a design philosophy based on DIY aesthetics and principles. Each piece of apparel represents a single building block in creating a user-defined Identity. We believe that clothes do not make a person who he/she is, it is the individual that defines the clothing.
