the toy karma aftermath: image links and wrap-up with kirkland

at the end of the toy-day, there's no denying im a "kaiju-tourist" (barely even a 'noob'! LOL) and i'd but look at the purdy colors and gush silently, without fully appreciating what kaiju really is about = that's why i depend on online enthusiasts for me to sponge knowledge and info off of! (LOL) = and here's me bugging ToyBotStudios' Kirkland Jue for his thoughts on the show (cheers for the trouble, bud!) = TRE: was the show worth all the hype and excitement leading up tp it?
KIRKLAND JUE: absolutely. actually from my standpoint, it surpassed the hype. I was surprised how many pieces of art, exclusives, customs and one-offs were available!! price list 3 pages long. there was a ton of great toys and art to choose from!!

TRE: who do you personally think was best-of-show?
KJ: ooooh, very tough question. I was blown away by the following artists: Carlos Enriquez' toy art was amazing in person. Bob Conge's Blobpus custom took my breathe away. Kyoka and Koji's custom Zags made me jump out of my chair. Frank Kozik's customs in the trippy colors, Mark Nagata's customs made everyone drool....
TRE: which was your most memorable custom seen? and by whom?
KJ: Kyoka's custom Zag or Bob Conge's custom Blobpus
TRE: what was the best thing you loved about the show and what was the thing you could live without?
KJ: I loved all the rad show exclusives by all the different toy companies: RealxHead, Blobpus, Rumble Monsters, Cronic. Loved The volume, variety and breadth of all the customs and one-offs from all the different artists. Could have done without the pre-sale servers crashing....
