leaked star trek shuttle shots versus c-movie set-builds

horkay, contrary to the post title, this isn't going to be about slamming designs nor critiquing the new leaked set-pictures from the new J.J. Abrams' STAR TREK movie - becoz instead of just posting pictures with no tangible-information, i've decided to have a bit of fun with them = by paralleling each leaked-image with snaps from a coupla sets i designed (and built with my crew for literally pittance) for a telly series, some 4-odd years ago = for your ROTFLMAO-pleasure, of coz (or at the very least, worthy of a *palm-slap-on-forehead*? ;p) ... if you'd rather not go along with my weekend-inanity - do feel free to go peep IESB or here for instant pic-gratification instead, no worries :) ... otherwise, please CLICK HERE :)

DISCLAIMER/ORIENTATION: the nice big images are the Star Trek movie-set-leaks, while the small (embiggenable by clicking) pics are from a "spaceship-set" from an episode of a weekly spy-comedy series titled: "ROUGE", where the main protagonists go undercover in a C-Movie film set (hence the uber-cheeziness of the design and finish - I INSIST! LOL) - additionally there are images of a mock-interior of a C-130 ... heh.

our "exterior" was still within a "studio" - which actually
was an unused former government/military clinic LOL)

the closest i have of "seating arrangements" was our scratch-built C-130 interior (*cough*)

sorry i don't have blurry shuttle-interior pics - how about a coupla spaceship-interiors? LOL

and here are a variety of console areas, including Comms, Weapons, Command and Navigation
- made from found items, junkstore finds, Ikea accessories, washing machine parts etc ... heh.
