"Reflections of Karl" is the name of the "mystery" MUNNY at the “Project MUNNY” event at the Kidrobot apparel line launch in Toronto - designed by Pat Thompson, as commissioned by Xbox Canada and currently on auction here (until March 31st) with he proceeds benefitting War Child Canada (auction includes the matching, brand-new Xbox 360 gaming console) ... meanwhile, click here for more pics and more about the origins of the custom :)
Designed by Nelson, B.C. artist Patrick Thompson and commissioned by Xbox Canada, this 18” Mega MUNNY and Xbox 360 console thrilled the Toronto Fashion Week event attendees. Thompson came upon the design by posing himself the question: “Who embodies the world of fashion better than the nauseatingly self-important, icon of creative genius – KARL OTTO LAGERFELD?” Karl Lagerfeld, with his ever-present sunglasses and trademark fan, comes to life in this MUNNY to celebrate Toronto Fashion Week by gazing at his reflection in his Xbox 360 mirror. The Karl Lagerfeld Mystery MUNNY was unveiled to the world at 9pm on Friday, March 21.
Lagerfeld is widely recognized as one of the most influential fashion designers of the late 20th century. He has collaborated with a variety of different fashion labels, with Chloé, Fendi and Chanel the most notable.
