about that end sequence of the iron man movie and what it may mean for the future

i was just yakking about this earlier today in the IM-Facebook-group, and lo and behold, Movieweb went and made my day with this bootleg video of the END SEQUENCE after the credit rolls of the IRON MAN movie! [reviewed] (hopefully a better quality bootleg will come in time :p)

***WARNING*** DO NOT CLICK HERE FOR SPOILER-VIDEO IF YOU INTEND TO WATCH THE MOVIE SOON (but do feel free to come back afters and we can all geek-out over it LOL)

after the credits have completely rolled, end sequence comes on - Tony Stark returns home, as Jarvis the A.I. greets him - a lone man waits in his living room ... to the normal Joe-Blo, the following sequence may not mean much (hell, my brother who doesn't read comicbooks probably won't catch-on), but to the fans? tis mofo-exciting is what it is! wish i had fellow fans cheering along with the sequence and last liner ... instead i was holding in my pee while the cinema lights were on, and the theatre-cleaner probably wondering if im getting my jollies from looking at people's name rolling on screen ... meanwhile...

TONY STARK: "Jarvis!"

JARVIS: "Welcome home Mr. Stark."

NICK FURY: "I AM IRON MAN ... You think you're the only superhero in the world?"

NICK FURY: "Mr. Stark, you've become part of a bigger universe, you just don't it yet..."

TONY STARK: "Who the hell are you?"

NICK FURY: "Nick Fury ... I'm here to talk to you about The Avengers Initiative."

WHAT ARE THE AVENGERS?
"The Avengers is a superhero team that appear in the fictional Marvel Universe ... Tagged by the company as "Earth’s Mightiest Heroes", the Avengers originally consisted of Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk. Subsequently the Hulk departed and Captain America joined the team within the first four issues of the series" [wiki]

Editor's Note: FYI - Thor, Captain America and Ant-Man are currently being optioned for live-action feature films, as is The Avengers! muahahaha :)

WHO IS NICK FURY?
for the uninitiated (*nudge-nudge*), Nick Fury is the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D - whom are introduced in this Iron Man movie, and will also crossover to another Marvel movie to come: The Incredible HULK.

Samuel L. Jackson's African-American Male "General Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury" cameo-role is based on Marvel Comics' ULTIMATE Universe (who in the comics, was specifically modeled after Jackson in the first place), while the "Regular" Marvel-U's "Colonel Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury" is a White Caucasian Male (who at one-time was played by David Hasselhoff in a telemovie) - both wore an eye-patch.

In the movie, S.H.I.E.L.D. stood for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division - while in the comicbooks, it stands for Strategic Hazard Intervention, Espionage Logistics Directorate.
