1/6 mark-2 iron man by hot toys
C'mon, you knew this was coming (and for some, it had been a fond toy-wish, I reckon) - first Hot Toys does the MARK-3 signature gold x red colored-armor [PEEP] and of coz, you MUST have the all-chrome / silver-colored MARK-2 IRON MAN armor, innit? No doubt complete with the same frills (ie: illuminated eye-slits, repulsor-palm/s and Arc-light chest) ... but this time, the Mark-2 face-plate slides open to reveal "Tony Stark" beneath! (as opposed to the previous separate IM-helmet and Stark) *GASP*
As we await further "official" product-specs - CLICK THRU for more ... and seriously tho, can we expect the steam-punk'd 1/6th-scaled MARK-ONE further down the production-line? Would any of you folks be interested in one at all in the first place?
Check out the Arc-light chest-piece accessory in a clear-case (below-pic-right) just like the one Pepper Potts did for Stark = *coolio*

aw, now why can't the m3 helmet open like that?
ReplyDeleteon a related note--not sure if it's just the lighting, but that open lid sculpt looks more like a hairy tim robbins to me... ^__^

Wow, the MkII looks way funkier than the MkIII :)
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested in the Mark 1 before the others, actually.
ReplyDeleteHe built that thing in a cave with a box of scraps, you know.
The MK1 / Steampunk Iron Man is the best !!!! (the other ones are... well... boring IMHO)
ReplyDeleteI would efinitely be interested in one, of course !!!
: )
Fred
The face plate does not open on the Mk II, it's just a different head sculpt. You change the entire head, as in the case of the Mk III.
