about that 3a toy catalog

TOY-CONFESSION: Whenever I used to buy toys when I was but a wee toddler-to-pimpled-tween, I most times will keep the catalogs or promo-leaflets that comes along with the toys. Especially those which showcases their entire range of products, or even previews upcoming goodies. Most memorable and vivid impression was made by Playmobil - where mini-sized booklets filled cover-to-cover with pictures of toys, a subliminal nudge of aspiration to covert the entire series, imprinted unto a young innocent boy's mind, and in many ways, is still "innocent" (or perhaps "naive"?) decades later (*cough*).

And with the passing of time, boxes of catalogs have disappeared (wish I made a scrapbook tho), but the memory linger still. People don't do much "catalogs" these days, well, except for the "bigboys". Now, at the most you get is a single printed card (double-sided print) in a box - Medicom Toys' BE@RBRICKS comes into mind. (Yes, of coz I know it's about "cost").

All this is just an extended excuse prelude for me to fawn over the 3A TOY CATALOG that will come with Ashley Wood x 3A Toy's BRAMBLE Deep Powder Edition (available @ Bambalandstore.com / tagged) as previewed on Bambablog.

To Ash: It ain't the thickness of the catalog, but the quality contained within, that truly counts, IMHO.

To Ash-fans: Anyone else notice the TOMORROW KING-ad with a dislodged flying robot-head? (peep-left) *Scherweeet!*
