scissorhands tease
This image posted on Tomm's blog is obviously of Edward Scissorhands (as any Tim Burton / Johnny Depp-fan can attest) ... but the question is: *IS IT IN 1/6TH SCALE?* ... followed by an even more pertinent question: *IS IT BY HOT TOYS?*
I'd like to be a smart-ass and speculate that due to the particular shading and tone of the photograph and object, as well as the hyper-details in the material sculpt, it is an embodiment and testiment of the quality of what Hot Toys has been producing recently, and have been quashing the numerous producers in the 1/6th-field ... but in reality, i have nothing to base all these speculation on other than my own observations.
Time will tell, I guess. (and soon, I hope :p). Only previous Edward Scissorhands-products in 1/6th that I know of are from Medicom Toy's (reviewed on MWCToys / pic via) and a Pullip doll. McFarlane's done both a 6-incher and an 18-incher tho (but that doesn't count :p)
