classic & urban dennis the menace vinyl toy by 382media
Hands up if you folks know who "Dennis the Menace" is?! Yes, he's the main character of a comic-strip in the U.S. - but he's also a UK comicbook "legend" (also known as "Dennis The Menace and Gnasher") across the pond (as it were) - having begun his reign of mischief and mayhem in the pages of the million-selling BEANO comic on March 17, 1951 and has appeared in every single weekly issue to this day.
His popularity soared in the UK to such an extent that by the mid-1970's there were 1.5 million members of the Dennis the Menace Fan Club and a multitude of Licensed Products and two top-rating BBC TV Animation series followed in the 1990’s.
And in 2008, Dennis The Menace has been made into a vinyl toy by 382Media! CLICK THRU for full-details of the CLASSIC and URBAN Editions!
"CLASSIC" - DENNIS THE MENACE
Artist Nigel Parkinson regularly illustrates Dennis the Menace for both the weekly Beano and the monthly BeanoMax and was 382media's choice to produce the master illustration for the ‘Classic’ Dennis the Menace vinyl.
An exclusive signed A5 card depicting Parkinson's blue-line working drawings of his turnarounds of Dennis accompanies this Limited Edition release along with two interchangeable ‘weapon’ accessories of a pea-shooter and a catapult.
"URBAN" - DENNIS THE MENACE
Noted UK comic illustrator Wayne Thompson produced this contemporary 'Urban' version of DENNIS THE MENACE specifically for 382media's vinyl collectible project range.
Influenced by the Japanese manga art style, Thompson created the 12-page 'Urban' Dennis the Menace comic book which accompanies this Limited Edition release along with two interchangeable ‘weapon’ accessories of a pea-shooter and a catapult.
Both editions are made of soft vinyl and stand 10 inches tall. Limited to 1000-pcs each design and priced at £35.00-per - you can order them online @ 382Media.com ... now all we need is a Gnasher black vinyl-dog! Both Classic and Urban versions to match, 'natch :)
