RAY The RobotBirdlett by Cris Rose x Okkle (for Resin Collective)
As the old saying goes: "A Bird In Hand is Worth..." ~ well, you know the rest ... but 2 Birdlett-customs by Cris Rose? *Custom-Gold* ~ IMHO.
You might be familiar with the custom hand-painted resin blue JET The RoboBirdlett shown above-right (Birdlett is created by Okkle) - featured previously. Well, say hello to RAY the RoboBordlett (above-left) - completed by Cris for the Resin Collective show @ Red Hot Robot (April 11th / tagged).

JET the RoboBirdlett was designed and built by Runcible to survey the forest for fires, while sustaining high-speed flights at high altitude. His head mounted sensor and comms array let him send back real-time telemetry of the situation while Runcible and Rotund would rush to the rescue. Like many of Runcible's creations, JET drew his energy from the Earth's magnetic field and resembled a wild animal so as not to scare any!
RAY the RoboBirdlett was designed and built by Runcible to work together with his faster brother JET in cases of forest fires and emergencies. In constant contact with JET and Runcible via his head mounted comms array, he would swoop down in front of any panicing animals fleeing blindly from danger and calm them down with the Ultrasonic Harmonizer Ray built into his chest. Working as a team, JET and RAY would look after the welfare of the frightened forest folk, ensuring they don't harm themselves while Runcible and Rotund dealt with the fires.
