Is Hot Toys Making a 1/6 Marcus Wright from Terminator: Salvation?
Will "MARCUS WRIGHT" be the next "humanoid-based" 1/6th-scaled action figure from Hot Toys? Would John Connor soon have a comrade-in-arms to help him fight Skynet's Terminator killer-cyborgs? Show above are blurred-out images suggesting possibly clothed action-figures ... [*EDIT: Source has since removed images, hence I will remove source-URL - even though I have not been contacted to do so*] ... CLICK THRU to speculate along with me if indeed it is Marcus Wright in the images above! WARNING: Movie-Plot Spoilers Ahead!
Before we begin speculation, perhaps we should know a little bit more about the movie character? Thusly, I ask; WHO-IS-MARCUS-WRIGHT?
"Marcus Wright is a mysterious Terminator who was based on a human who was on death row at Longview State Correctional Facility for killing a cop. Hours before his execution, Marcus was approached by Serena Kogen, a cancer-stricken scientist working for Cyberdyne Systems, who got him to agree to signing his body over for medical research in exchange for a final kiss. After his death and conversion into a cyborg, Marcus was buried in the earth to lay dormant until his activation by Skynet."
"Marcus awakens in the remains of the Skynet VLA and cries out in horror at the world around him. He acquires clothes and searches the wastes, coming upon a rubber-skinned T-600 Terminator which immediately tries to kill him. TRE-SPECULATION: The image of the blurred-out blue-trenchcoat figure is suspected to be Marcus, as most images online indeed does show him in the coat (which made it harder for me to track down a reference image for the other posted blurred-image). No further speculation until more is shown (that I could attempt to photoshop anyways :p). Which leads us to the next image:
TRE-SPECULATION: While it took me quite some time to track down a reference image of Resistance-member-slash-Terminator-cyborg "Marcus Wright" (played by Sam Worthington) that does NOT show him in the blue-trench seen everywhere else - the best reference in the end, was a 3.75" Marcus from Playmates Toys - complete with yellow sleeve-strips on a military-styled fatigue / jacket (it's about the "pockets" LOL) = *Sweet*

TRE-SPECULATION: So could the Marcus-figure be possible a combo-set which includes a duo set of combat fatigues and blue trenchcoat? A possible trend that Hot Toys may be going into, my speculation spurred on with the recent announcement o the MMS DX-series Joker, IMHO. *Text-Edited*
TRE-SPECULATION: If that be the case, would there even be the possibilities of duo headsculpts? With a "Regular" unscarred Marcus, and a partially-exposed Marcus x Terminator (blurred image above)? And as seen from the image below, perhaps someone will consider an added cyborg/terminator hand to go with the set?
Now, that would be pretty darn cool, methinks :)

FYI: "Sergeant Tech-Com DX 38416 KYLE REESE" was numbered "MMS01" in Hot Toy's Movie Masterpiece series [product/www] back in 2005. Will Marcus be MS100? (Would've expected John Connor instead tho, or perhaps the character of Marcus is more prominent in Salvation?)
