UglyDoll Ugly Hangers and Joe Ledbetter's Slander Snake for Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention 2009

While currently only graphics are shown for the SLANDER SNAKE product, perhaps this image found on Joe's blog shows a glimpse of the body-form (image-right). Four colorways will be made available, with GREEN Slander in an edition of 1000 pcs, BLUE Slander in 500-pcs, PURPLE Slander clocks in lesser at 300-pcs, and finally the LAVA Slander has the smallest production run at 200-pcs. *Stay tuned for further reveals*

Do note that Joe Ledbetter is one of the (four) VIP Guests of STGCC in the Walk of Fame event (which means he'll have a booth of his own, with loads of goodies no doubt on display for all to oggle over ;p), and stay tuned for release date/time and for schedules of autograph sessions.


Keep a lookout for the mini Ugly Dolls Handphone Strap & Zipper Pull at STGCC - which will be made available in stores shortly afters (undetermined at this time if they are blind-boxed or opened tho). 12 characters are shown in the ad-image above (unknown if there be "chase" figures). Uglydoll-co-creator David Horvath blogs: "Phones in the USA lack the hole found on 99% of the cel phones in Asia, but you can hang these guys on just about anything."

(FYI: It tis unknown if either of the UglyDolls-creators (aka David and Sun-Min Kim) will be attending STGCC)

Do note that Play Imaginative will be releasing these products to North & South America's retailers through Beautiful Plastic (aka the new distribution arm of Kidrobot).
