Custom-Showcase: Bernardo Esquivel + Jesse Lincoln for Hot Toys x Iron Man collARTible Expo (April 22-May 9)
After the earlier features of 1/6-Iron Man customs by Anthony Mestas and Heath Hammond completed for the Hot Toys x Iron Man collARTible Expo [tagged] currently on display at Miramar Shopping Center in Hong Kong (til May 9th 2010), we have a chance to see two more custom-contributions to the show from Sideshow Collectibles-artists Bernardo Esquivel and Jesse Lincoln! CLICK THRU for a closer look at a military-themed custom based on an 80's movie, and a steampunked Avenger!
"To Protect and Serve" is by Bernardo Esquivel (3D Key Artist/Painter & Prototype Fabricator of Sideshow Collectibles, US) ~ 'who has big passion for military history and science fiction movies.' The concept was inspired by and based on the 1983-movie; “Blue Thunder”.

“Lunch Break” by Jesse Lincoln (3D Key Artist of Sideshow Collectibles, US) features a design concept inspired by construction and demolition, shown here standing in twilight rust, all kitted-out in retro-tech that vibes like a steampunked-mashup of "Metropolis" and "Wizard of Oz", with Iron Man as (naturally), the "Tin Man", IMHO.
