HITCHHIKERS-GUIDE

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Exhibition" sees 42 Singapore-based artists interpret and showcase their intergalactic visions in a series of artworks inspired by the famous science-fiction novel [Full event-details blogged]. CLICK THRU for some select snaps of the gallery space, taken both on Opening Night (April 16th) and on the afternoon of Monday April 19th (slightly better lighting conditions).

Currently on display at BloodGroup+ Space (32 Aliwal Street, 02-02, Singapore) the last day of exhibition is today, April 21st, 2010. Gallery closes at 8pm.

The show saw Babelfish Translators, "Don't Panic" towels and emergency boxes, tea sets and lego-made atomic mushroom-clouds, amongst many others = A glorious eclectic collection of artwork and installations to tease your senses. I remember loving the book (but scarcely remember the contents, but for that torrid movie a few years back *shudder*), so this is a lil treat for me personally.
