Toy-Teaser: William & Shady by Dylan Sprouse x Monster5
Dylan Spouse at Sprouse Arts has a spanking new vinyl toy scheduled for a Summer-release, featuring a sculpt from famed Japanese artist Monster5! "WILLIAM" stands 6 inches tall and is the gentle-monster with the 3rd orb-eye on his forehead, while "SHADY" scampers around and rests on William's back. Both figures will come inside a Die-cut box and include a mini print. These are the editions solicited so far:
- YELLOW Edition (Limited to 100 pcs) with a SRP of US$45
- RED Edition (Limited to 75 pcs) with a SRP of US$50 per
- BLACK Edition (Limited to 50 pcs) with a SRP of US$50
- WHITE Edition (Limited to 50 pcs) with a SRP of US$50

Shown above (far-right) is an earlier print-design by Dylan and the evolution to the final sculpt (far-left). Very cool to see an incorporation of Dylan's character design and adaptation of the aesthetics into the final form by Monster5, IMHO (and not an exact direct translation).

Why did I mentioned earlier that Shady rested on William's back? Well that notion was assumed when I found this image of a pair of awesome-cool customs (posted below), where Shady was seen literally at his back! Yes, one day I will get down to finding out the actual story! LOL
