RED Trailer
Generally, I enjoy a good comic-to-movie adaptation, and though some soar thru the skies of imagination majestically, some plunder the depths of humanity's crud and leaves a foul stench of ages. Here's hoping RED will be the former. Based on the cult D.C. Comics graphic novels by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, RED is an explosive action-comedy starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.
While I do have the 3-issue comicbook, it was more of Cully's arm which delighted me, moreso Warren's writing which left no huge impression (and me being a huge Ellis-fan, mind you!). Regardless, here's hoping for the best possible enjoyment to be had, and from this trailer, it looks to be quite a laugh, innit? WHAT: Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA's top agents -- but the secrets they know just made them the Agency's top targets.
