A cool oodles of snaps for Circus Posterus' MONSTERS & MISFITS Show in Japan for Tomenosuke, featuring work-in-progress mutations of both new works and existing awesomeness from Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters and Chris Ryniak, and these behind-the-scenes workshop snaps would make any hardcore fan want to buy a plane ticket and fly there post haste! And as well a real treat for fans of theirs in the Far East and Jaoan (never forget that). And having read that I have played a small part in the starting of this venture, warms my heart, selfishly so.
There is also currently an invigorating online-conversation about the validity of existing designs versus the need for constant new creations on the forum where the pics are posted. Things really start from page 8 onwards ~ have a read thru and weigh in if need be …
PRESS: The Freak Store in Venezuela is excited to announce the "I Love Munny 2.0" customizing contest. All the contestants will be asked to customize their favorite Munny World figure. The winners will be selected at the official "I Love Munny 2.0" party on March 17th by All-Star judges: Amanda Visell, Huck Gee, Michelle Valigura, The Baroness, Carlos Enriquez Gonzalez and others important personalities from Venezuela.

EVENT PRESS: OHWOW inaugurates its Los Angeles gallery with a solo exhibition of recent work by New York based artist Scott Campbell. In Campbell's West Coast debut, "Noblesse Oblige", he uses copper, currency, graphite, ink, and neon, to transform tattoo subculture iconography into delicate and tempered work.
