DC COMICS - Seen @ STGCC 2011
DC Comics displayed for the very first time at Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention 2011 [www / TAGGED] and their booth set-up was essentially the mirror-opposite of Marvel Comic's booth, with one distinct difference -they had displayed a series of toy figurines in their tower showcase! (Hey, this is a toy-blog, of course I trumpet that happenstance! LOL). And what a swell little showing indeed! (Much more snaps viewable at my Facebook album). Good show!
As well there was their character branding, with Jim Lee's re-designed Justice League front and center (I had to snap a geekpic here haha). And given away at the booth was a comics primer featuring the new '52' - which included a few sweet pages of Jim Lee on Batman (free comics by a comicbook company = WIN). Also look out or the Flashpoint #1 variant cover on sale there.
