I'm not a huge MEGO-fan, and have frankly zero emotional-attachment with the 8" clothed figures from old … but when 3A Toys announced they will be making 8-inch tall MEGO-ish action figures, that might have perked up my attention. Having done 1/6 and 1/12th scale, yet another scale/genre is pretty aggressive a move, methinks!
On show at New York Toy Fair (Feb 16-19.2014) is the first time folks have seen the 8-inch tall "3AGO" figures ("3A" + "MEGO"). Featuring what looks like chunckier body-forms (one can argue "thicker muscle" lol), these look to be "blind boxed" style figures, but then again we'll wait for full product information before I mouth off. No availability details for now, as well.
