I've always enjoyed the crossover borderline categorisation between "collectible toys" and "novelty collectible", because honestly, where does it begin and when does it end?
For me it is simple: When an artist(s)' name is attached to the character designed product, it is instantaneously labeled as "art collectible", regardless if it's original character design, or based of a licensed media... but that's just me :)
