Planted right next to Killiney Cafe (at least for the past 4 X pop-ups), in a spot I had requested for, but am now considering the lack of foot traffic being devastatingly detrimental to my flea attempts (!), or until the spot is no longer available (if taken over by a new tenant), so we'll see geographically, if I decide to continue forth with "monthly" pop-ups (in lieu of twice monthly), cheers.

Organized by the fine folks at @theretrofactorysg, the vintage/flea market happens twice a month - on the first weekend of (where folks are more familiar with the existence of, since held over the past 6 years), and the third weekend (termed "Second Market", yes confusing I know), which apparently has not caught on with some/most of the "regulars". The past weekend was my "4th" flea attempt at Katong Square.
On one hand I need to consider "creating/nurturing" my own "regulars", but thus far it has been pretty ineffective, with positive social reactions not translating to sales, and honestly most of my buyers have been "brand new" to me or my blog, which in itself is kinda exciting, I admit! "Looking for love in all the wrong places", I guess! LOL
This past weekend was the "second market" weekend, coinciding with rain, and SneakerCon, which left a wake of deathly quiet disappointment (BOO$$$), but for the new friends I'd made (YAAAAAY) ... "Community" versus "Sales Survival" is an absolutely perplexing conundrum, methinks! But nothing beats the feeling to be able to help folks rekindle their memories of happy times from before! Except maybe the "table-rental" and "transport-cost"-two gut punch-combo (*ouch*), which I suspect might be par for course for seasoned boothers and retailers ... which I am neither :p
