TOYSREVIL: How was 2025 for you?
JIAYEE & WENHAN: Hello everyone, we are Deeplii, a Malaysia-based brand from Kuala Lumpur. We’re a brand that loves character design while being deeply passionate about creating nostalgic-themed works.
JIAYEE & WENHAN: 2025 has been a year filled with many firsts. It was our first time collaborating with various brands, as well as our first time exhibiting overseas — participating in Illustration Taipei and Pop Toy Show Singapore. It has truly been a year of pushing our boundaries and stepping out of our comfort zone.
JIAYEE & WENHAN: Throughout 2025, we mainly collaborated with our friend Zetto to launch the Altraman vs Hurrilla series. It was also our first attempt at creating short comic panels to tell a small story about how our apple character transforms into Altraman.
We’re truly grateful for the love and support for our original character Altraman. It is because of everyone’s encouragement and support that Deeplii has been able to grow and come this far 🤍
TOYSREVIL: What can we look forward to in 2026 from you?
JIAYEE & WENHAN: Looking ahead to 2026, we’ve set some new goals for ourselves — to properly build the brand by launching our official website and rolling out two brand-new series.
On the toy side, we’re starting to explore ways to highlight our original fruit characters through a Crayon Shin-chan–inspired series. We’re also planning to launch a brand-new panda series in the second half of next year — we won’t share too much for now, so please stay tuned ✨
Our dream for 2026 is, of course, for our brand to be recognized by more people, and to have the opportunity to collaborate with even bigger brands! Thank you everyone for taking the time to read and for listening to our story, and we wish you all a new year where your dreams come true! 🤍✨
