Hungry Hamster Club seen @ Pop Toy Show Singapore 2025
Featured here are snaps of The Hungry Hamster Club booth at Pop Toy Show Singapore, helmed by creator Freddy Lim, who has as well shared a slice of his 2025, and teased what to expect in 2026! Also scroll thru for snaps of my Hungry Hamster Mini-purchase and Hamster plush!

TOYSREVIL: How was 2025 for you and the Hungry Hamster Club?
FREDDY LIM: To be honest, 2025 started off as a total rollercoaster. I took a massive hit early on when a factory middleman ran off with my production money. It was a huge setback, and I basically had to start from zero—hunting for a new factory that met my quality standards without breaking the bank. I actually spent a good chunk of the year working in bars just to fund the mold and production costs again.
Once I got back on steady ground, I put all that energy into a new line: Hungry Hamster Minis. I wanted something more accessible for new collectors—smaller vinyl toys that kept the same high quality but at a sub-$30 price point. It was a challenge to make the math work with limited runs, but the feedback has been incredible.

FREDDY LIM: The highlight of the year had to be exhibiting at DesignerCon in Las Vegas. Being the only Singaporean artist there was such a proud moment. Between that and the Minis launch, 2025 ended up being a year of "pulling through" and proving that the hard work pays off.
TOYSREVIL: What can we look forward to in 2026 from you?
FREDDY LIM: 2026 is all about the "Relaunch." After all the production headaches of the last two years, I’m finally bringing back the main collections. I’m especially hyped about a limited 50-piece collab with @poyunwang and @jeesayalero (of @hundredemons) — I'll be dropping those designs very soon!

FREDDY LIM: Beyond the toys themselves, my big goal for 2026 is bringing production in-house. I’m looking to invest in my own machinery for post-processing—painting, high-quality printing, and finishing. As artists, we all deal with factory delays, high costs, and crazy MOQs. By doing this myself, I can create high-quality, limited runs for my own work and eventually help out my artist friends by eliminating those production bottlenecks.
