mint toy museum

:: LIFE IN SINGAPORE / TOYS ::
there's a new museum in town [via] and tis a museum of TOYS! = MINT ~ with 5-storeys worth of toys, including a cafe, shop and a rooftop garden for private functions (great for chilling out at a TOY CONVENTION, innit? *i wish*) "Insulated and fitted with UV-filtered bulbs and glass sheleves, Mint claims to be the world's first purpose-built building for playthings" = *wow* every toy-collectors' dream, innit? *HAH*

was around the area today just, but unfortunately was carrying stuff, so didn't pop in :( ... and all i could do was snap a coupla quick ones :p (a lil review next time round, if/when i go and if they let me snap pix)

diggin' the balloon sign and the vintage car parked opp/outside wih a promo-sticker down sidedoor was purdy cute lah (the "sticker" not the car) :p

remarked just in a local toy-forum, trying to round-up some collectors for a "gathering", to visit and show support (altho i know not the owner personally :p) and to have a cuppa. but most importantly, we might be able to bring our action figures (with "permission" of coz) and share a lil and chat toys; in the cafe - like when a hoard of us did every other weekend at a basement coffee-house, at ye old MidPoint Orchard = until we were chased away, that is! LOL - imagine a group of 15 grown-ass-men, 1/6th-figures in hand and comparing kitbashes in a small-ass kopi-tiam is too farnie to be true ... but it was ... and i miss it ... *heh* :p
