father's day

:: LIFE IN SINGAPORE ::
father's day was a relatively decent affair, the events leading up to it as turbulent as my current job-schedule (but that's another gripe for another day) - nevertheless, a boisterous and chatty time was had, as we descended upon Kushin-Bo @ Suntec City.

having fond memories of the restaurant September last, during my virgin birthday-meal (at the restaurant, i mean), i reserved a rekindling of said memories and we celebrated Father's Day on a Saturday (Sunday was fully-booked and i was on-job anyways :p)

a buffet-styled AYCE (all-you-can-eat) with yummy MSG-filled paper hotpot soups (pictured), fresh seafood and sushi, decently oily fried goodness, pedestrian but appreciative teppanyaki, a small but yummy desset spread, with chocolates! simply put: enough decent food to keep me from snapping any other pics other than those shown here (*LOL*) ... and my memories did not fail me ... much ...

the only thing that bugged me was the constant "specials" they announce over the public-speaker-system in the restaurant - with an annoying muffled jingle and announcements (as most public announcements are in Singapore *heh*) of the "special lobster in mayo sauce, only available to the first 20 customers" yaddayaddayadda ~ other than that? we chatted, we laughed and we ate. ya can't ask for anything more than that :)
