barely legal banksy

the thing about Banksy is that whatever he manages to achieve/execute, publicity is inevitably drummedup (either self-promo or via media coverage) at the opportune place and time and ends up with the obvious superb response. even the hits i've been getting lately spiked around the time of Banksy@Disneyland til now.

"creativity" is subjective to each and every individual's perception and/or even predetermined notion, what is deemed "great work" might be "mediocre" to some. what you like personally, might not be other's cuppa tea - either way, you'd haveta concede that Banksy's a smart dude, IMHO. and really, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, innit?

my own personal adage: it's no point being good at something or being the best at what you can do (*snikt*), but no one knows you exist.

Banksy has set himself up on the world stage (consciously or by others) and everyone's lapping it up, including me who's halfway around the world, whose only way to "see" or "know" of creators and creations is via the www.

i might not be able to be present "physically" at his Barely Legal show/exhibition in LA (red/pink elephant fiasco notwithstanding), but sure as heck's the www's gonna provide me with eyecandy-overload! here's a few choice sites wif pix:
