warren ellis on thunderbolts
:: COMICS ::
seeing the last panel-art of Marvel's Civil War #4 and reading about the new creative team of Thunderbolts [info via] gave me the shivers ~ enough for me to blog about it!
Warren Ellis and Mike Deodato Jr brings Venom, Moonstone, Bullseye, Songbird, Radioactive Man, Swordsman, Penance and Norman Osborne/The Green Goblin in to track down Captain America's underground resistance group. essentially a sanctioned-"New Avengers" but with Villains (WTF are Stark, Reed and da rest of them eggheads thinking? *aiyoh*) ~ which was what The Thunderbolts were about way back when when i started the comic (stopped when artist Mark Bagley left :p) ~ altho i haveta say, whenever any comic come out about villains (including Suicide Squad), inevitably they are always tame and toe the PG-line and ends up with unsatisfactory-villainy ... but this is Warren Ellis we're talking about, so i suck in my gut and brace myself for some surprises, innit? (especially when Taskmaster, Jack'o'Lantern and Jester are missing from that line-up)

read more about it on CBR with editor Tom Brevoort ... heck, im still shell-shocked about the cloned-Thor, innit? *gack*
