Q: Can you reveal the broad strokes of the film's storyline? how true to the original story, setting and characters is your film?
KEVIN MUNROE: We're doing an original story of Gatchaman and Galactor's first invasion of Earth. Adding a mythology to why they are, where the conflict of Katse and Galactor came from, and explaining Gatchaman's super powers.
Q: Could you talk about the tone of the film?
KEVIN MUNROE: With a PG-13 movie, you can really up the dramatic tone - fear of death and pushing the stakes for the characters in the film. There will be greater character comedy, but I would never call it a "comedy". As planned, it should fit perfectly on a shelf with The Matrix, batman, Spiderman etc.
