about kidrobot's yo gabba gabba toys and kids' show of the times
THE NEW KIDROBOT TOYS:
Muno, Brobee, Foofa, Plex and Toodee comes to toy-life (seen on their show-intro above) with the November 21st release of Yo Gabba Gabba toys by Kidrobot! [source] - standing between 7"-ers to 10"-ers @ US$24.95-per - they look to be clad in either basic vinyl, flocked or plushed/furred = but i cannot be absolutely certain based on just looking @ the image alone LOL :p

i am not familiar at all with Yo Gabba Gabba! (until this post, when i'd bother to research for info) altho it basically reminds me ye old Krofft Superstar-shows, especially Banana Splits! (basically dudes in mascot costumes jumping around LOL) all bundled together in simpler, catchier tunes of that era ... nowadays it's all updated with slicker+brighter colors, and irritating hip.pop.tunnage - but in reality, different eras require different tunes, to appeal to and define that particular era, dunnit? what we/i enjoyed when we were toddlerteens may be considered fossilized-static to the youth of today, does it? a pity, if that be the case :p ... then of coz, there are the "toys" = kids nowadays' got it made! LOL
VERSUS
the Original Banana Splits Opening:
Horrendous-visual but great audio LOL
altho i have a question: by virtue of it being made out of vinyl (and released by an art/urban toy company), would this be considered an "urban vinyl figure", as opposed to a "kid's toy"? *heh*
