about monsterfactory's forgotten lore plushes
personally, what makes a toy (plushed or vinylized) more interesting, beyond it's form, is it's character, it's back-story - which most times, brings life to a creation, gives the viewer/buyer/collector a vested-interest in the toy, very much like celluloid-characterization: a great looking cast on the silver screen, but beyond mere 2-dimensional characterization, means shit-all to the audience (well, maybe not all ... :p). and what i like about Monster Factory's creations (beyond their huggable forms); are that they all have a story behind them, so i reckon when you give them a hug, it's like hugging someone you (already) know - IMHO, of coz ... witness their latest Forgotten Lore plush-series:
You would think that by his age Royal would be a little more sensible. He isn't ... Queenie can always be called upon for sound advice, though you had better be braced for the truth ... Against his parents’ wishes, Bradley is determined to ‘make it’ on his own... even without his allowance.
For someone his size Gordon is surprisingly nimble on the tennis court ... Though it's hard to doubt his sincerity, most of what El Nino says should be taken with a grain of salt ... Most people who meet La Nina are surpised to learn that she is not an only child.
Although it's difficult to follow exactly what Wilma is talking about she is always entertaining to listen to ... In an effort to curb her constant fidgeting Sally has taken up meditation... BOR-ING.
the average size of this line is between 10"-12" and the prices are as follows (in CAD): Bradley ($40 CAD), El Nino ($25), Gordon ($35), La Nina ($25), Queenie ($35), Royal ($30), Sally ($35) and Wilma ($40) and can be purchased online @ www.monsterfactory.net = *sweet*
