living the dark knight lifestyle

okay fine, the post-title might be a tad over-sell but i've personally been very intrigued with what else The Dark Knight movie-marketing-machine has up their sleeves (besides online virals) - then these started to pop-up:

Hypebeast has just posted about rocker John Mayer who'd received a package from "Gotham Novelties Inc" which includes a sweet tee featuring The Joker (image ala the recently released Teaser Poster - for which i have no doubt the imagery would be all over when it hits the fan, IMHO ;p) and a pack'a cards = *coolness*

and from ComicBookResources comes an update of the Joker Halloween-contest [tagged] with an image of a macabre stuffed monkey doll, who was part of a Flash-based carnival game on the site: whysoserious.com/steprightup/ = which i reckon would make a pretty darn cool actual/physical plush-release, wouldn't it? /// CLICK HERE FOR MORE

no doubt the toys and merchandizing aspect of the movie has been covered even before the filming begun, i can only but hope they'd venture beyond super-mass-market super-mall toy aisles and tap on the pop-culture lifestyle that permeates in our media-saturated dayz, IMHO of coz :)

meanwhile, do peep SuperHeroHype's updates on the various online-viral sites spawning (i got bored after the 4th-site, but maybe i should explore further to see what else might be in-store, yeh?) *heh*
