de'signs fiction with kenn munk

*de'signs fiction* was a one week workshop on alternative design approaches - where Kenn Munk and 17 students became the design/set/prop/costume department for an imaginary science fiction movie. The final product wasn't the set - but was a series of stills pretending to be a movie. The purpose of the workshop "was to make the students work fast and decisive sticking to a tight brief and a tighter deadline without ceasing to be creative."

Very inspiring and ultimately heartbreaking (for me personally), becoz something like this would never not happen in Singapore - where the emphasis is on "cost" versus "education" ... anyways - Kudos for Kenn doing it, and the academic establishment for approving it. Nicely done folks, nicely done indeed! :)
