1/6 wong ka kui (beyond) from m-icon hot toys
Made in tribute to his contribution to the Hong Kong music industry and in loving memory of 15 years since his passing, HOT TOYS has produced a trio of 1/6th-scaled articulated figures of the late Wong Ka Kui (黄家驹) from the now-defunct HongKong band BEYOND - under their M ICON-label (which gave us young Marlon Brando and James Dean in 1/6th).
The Beyond 1993 Rock n Roll Album Version [www] sees the late singer dressed in a Red-jacket and black-sneaks, while the Beyond 1992 Live Performance version [www] sees a basic all-Black ensemble including over-coat - both figures have been scheduled for a end-June/early-July release date. The third version of the figure is the Memorial Auction Version [www] with the figure dressed in a Green-jacket. Limited to only 40-pcs worldwide, this figure is only available for auction currently on Yahoo!Auction with the auction ending June 6th. 100% of auction proceeds generated will be donated to HK charity organization "Sowers Action"
