rotund preview by cris rose

After his successful sold-out RUNCIBLE Edition A resin figure, Cris Rose pops a sneakie-peek of (the drawing for) his next resin figure to come; ROTUND!

A radical change since his last sneak, primarily in it's body form - scaled next to Runcible and looking decidedly more like his namesake :p (FYI: Rotund's tail is not shown in drawing posted above).

Stay tuned to further developments (and surprises) on TRE! Meanwhile, do CLICK THRU to read about Rotund (or at least, the first version of events before History is rewritten :p)

"There are 3 robots in Runcible's world.

Runcible was the only to survive intact, protected by the greatest tree in the forest, the other two were found and repaired by Runcible.

Rotund was the first, another of his master's early creations, a simple, happy little robot designed to live among children!

The second... was a mistake... a military droid called Reaper who's nature Runcible was too naive to fully consider...

Reaper was created from the technology of Runcible's master, originally conceieved for farming work, the military wanted to arm and reprogram him for war - this was a project his master wanted no part of. Runcible's technology was created to benefit all the life on Earth, and the master was not about to assist in it's destruction... but the technology was replicated and there was nothing his master could do."

Rotund is the smallest, simplest and cheapest resin figure. Runcible is the medium, Reaper is the largest, most complex and most expensive.

There will be 2 or 3 Editions of each robot, then they get new bodies, limbs and accessories for the next few runs :) The heads stay the same, as that is where the robot's core lies.
