Clutter Blog previews the latest DOLBEE figure - designed by Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters. Clutter mentions: "It was designed to coincide with the ATP Festival happening in Australia right at this moment which has Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds headlining." (circa Jan 9-10)
"Traditionally" each 5-inch tall Dolbee runs between 365-366 pcs per design (each one numbered with a day of the year) and is priced at £20 / US$40. Current Dolbees will be sold exclusively at the festivals, with remainder stock made available after the event thru www.atpfestival.com (as well as Toy Tokyo, Rotofugi and Outre).

I got my Dolbee from a friend in Sydney yesterday. It looks pretty cool, but I'm struggling to see where the individual numbers are on this thing, unless I've recently gone blind and senile
ReplyDeleteI can assure you that it's not the Number 88 in the centre - unless by some quirk of fate i managed to get the same Dolbee they used for all the promo shots..
"individual numbers" was mentioned on their product description - but i've never been able to ascertain if that be on the product itself, or the box etc or if at all they exist ... doubt if you're blind nor senile tho LOL
