I currently have zero tangible "official" information besides these above-posted prototype-pics of a new collaboration-figure from Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters dubbed BIG SAL! [Pic-Source: Super7-Tweet / KR-forum] ... but with a wee bit of cyber-dredging and googling, here's what I have so far:

Big Sal is coming from Super7's new (non-kaiju / western-designers orientated, I presume) toy-line; "Monster Factory" - with the only connection made via Vinyl Pulse's coverage of 2008's San Diego Comic-Con [pics via] showcasing a series of mini-standees next to a prototype of Le Merde's Sir Hollis Price figure (the size of which eludes me / insert-pic via Toybot Studios) = who was in fact released just for Le Merde's WE ARE BROTHERS 2 show at Super7.
