Toys for SDCC 2009 (Part Two: Coverage from SpankyStokes)

5 inch tall BANDIT figure by MAXX242 x Wild Ones was released exclusively at SDCC for US$25per (limited to only 50 pcs). John-reports: "vThe figure stands about 5" tall and sports a Wild Ones hat and tee as well as the hand sign "W" for Wild and the "1" for Ones. This piece comes packaged in a nice window box and is a must for all graff toy collectors!" [More pics via SS]
BIC BUDDY artist series from BIC Plastics was unveiled at the Con, featuring an eye-popping list of folks working on the platform figure - including: MAD, Marka27, Brandt Peters, Kathie Olivas, Cope2, kaNO, Jesse Hernandez, Scribe, Andrew Bell, Sket, Indie84, Angry Woebots, Ritzy Periwinkle. Besides the convention-exclusive ZERO DEGREES CELSIUS vinyl figure from Rotobox & KUSO Designer Toys, there was the OR-black/grey colorway, as well as BLANK CELSIUS? Seriously, how cool would it be to custom on that figure?! Mezco got together 60+ artists and had them customize their new platform MEZ-IT vinyl figure, with a truly eclectic result. This year especially seems a year for custom toys, ins't it? (more on that in another post). SpankyStokes has mondo more pics and video here :)
