Lemi The Space Wanderer Plush by Eric Wirjanata x Slanted Toys
LEMI The Space Wanderer is a cross between a Television and a Rabbit. Lemi started out as a Deathrockstar Webzine logo mascot, then attained 3-dimensional life as a papertoy, then resin figure and now Lemi goes plush, courtesy of creator Eric Wirjanata (aka Thunderpanda)!
Produced by Slanted Toys, Lemi Plush stands 10 inches tall and is limited to 100pcs. Handmade by a small home industry in the suburb of Jakarta, Lemi has a SRP of US$19 and comes along with a screen printed canvas bag, pins and random goodies. Arriving in Singapore in a doodled-package was the squishy soft LEMI plush from Slanted Toys, featuring lush embroidery for the design accents on Lemi's face and "Thunderpanda" on the back-of-body. Added charm came in the form of Lemi being presented slightly "slanted", like a space wanderer in motion, or just plain reacting to your responses ~ a crinkled ear, a shift in the left feet ~ Lemi stares right back at you and dares you to hug him! Lemi even made his first friend in Singapore; our dog Dino!
