Toy-Release: Dr. House M.D. in 1/6-scale
I watch a lot of television. Some days I feel I watch too much of it. And because of local cable programming, I watch a whole lot of medical dramas, weekly episodic drama series which glorifies the selfless acts of doctors and nurses, along with their own neurosis and banged-up lives. But none are as riveting as Dr Gregory House in "House M.D." (Olivia Wilde might have "mildly" contributed to rivetness ~ *cough*), and none would make more sense as a 1/6-scaled action figure set, than Dr House ~ or in this particular instance, "Dr. H".
Spotted on Store-Rooms.com is this "1/6 Dr.H Action Figure" (no manufacturer name is mentioned) featuring a headsculpt resembling actor "Hugh Laurie" (with a hairstyle circa early seasons, before his current "post-Asylum-haircut"), in a box-set which also includes fabric clothes, running shoes, and clever accessories like 2 x walking sticks, 3 x medicine bottles and a sandwich. Would have been nice if it included a back-pack (to match his jacket for when he rides his bike home after a long day of diagnostic diatribes :p). SRP was US$64.99 (Note the set does not come with a 1/6-body)

In addition, I have to say these are some of the nicest product photography I have seen in a while, with subtle depth of field notion in the blurring of the backgrounds, and controlled lighting and apt mood. Kudos to whomever had the vision and the skill to make this!
