Day Two of Munny World Festival Indonesia saw an early Saturday (September 25th) start of with a signing session featuring Marine Ramdhani (creator of Jouwe) and yours truly, at the entrance of Plastic Culture in Grand Indonesia (East Mall), Jakarta. And no, your eyes deceive you not ~ for the handsome dude sitting next to me in the above pic is indeed Phu! (Marine was slightly late for the session ;p). Phu! was rocking a tee from IndieGuerillas, while I was clad in a Machine56-tee = all by Indonesia designers!

Attina Nuraini and Evan Driyananda of RECYCLE Experience, with Meizan Nataadiningrat aka TellThem Works next helmed the signing table, and they promptly whipped out a virtual mini-workshop with mechanized tools, bolts and nuts ~ and promptly set to work on their custom Mini-Munnys for the event (makes me feel bad for just doodling on mine :p) ~ now THAT's dedication to their craft, folks! Check out the results below (apologies for my dismal photography-skills tho ;p):

Folks who stopped by for a group-snap (L-R): Marine Ramdhani, Manuel Heischel (Cik Cuk Dunia Fantasi), Attina Nuraini and Evan Driyananda (Recycle Experience), Meizan Nataadiningrat (TellThem Works), Yudi Andhika (The Yellow Dino) and TOYSREVIL ~ both Manuel and Yudi were revealed there and then to be the surprise "Guest Artists" for the evening [blogged "live" @ MWFI). One exceptional thing about MWFI for me personally, was the chance to meet up with my Bandung-based friends again, in Jakarta!

Within the PC-space itself, the thronging crowd packed in by mid-day, and I really do mean P.A.C.K.E.D. without a shred of overhype. Most of the day, while activities happened all around, I had attempted to plonk myself down at the communal lightbox-table space smack in the middle of the store (Magic-words: "WiFi Access"), and I find myself surrounded by folks ~ which is weird for me (don't like folks glancing over my shoulder as I type) and at the same time invigorating, as I had the chance to meet and be introduced to folks and new friends! Did all you folks have fun too?

Folks not involved in the customizing-festivities were not left out, as they had a chance to "show off"
their designing skills ~ by customizing on the blank Munny-forms printed on the banner at the store
entrance! Designs pretty much filled up quick, and even I did not have a chance to sneak in one myself!

One of the highlights of Day 2's activities was the On-The-Spot Munny-Custom Competition, held in the Saturday evening. Participants had signed up prior to the event started, and were given a Mini-Munny each to work on. Table-clusters were set up with 4 participants to a table. Everyone had exactly two hours to complete their custom Mini-Munnys, to be judged on and winners revealed on Day 3 Sunday. And this is what they came up with:

While the On-The-Spot custom contest was on, both Chris Lee and Phu! were on signing duty over at the shopfront. And their session was followed by the "surprise guest artists" of the day: Manuel and Yudi ~ who had then closed Day Two of MWFI with a collaboration on two customs, a regular Munny (shown above) and a Mini-Munny (shown below):
