Luno The Moonrover by Sergey Safonov on Kickstarter

Sergey Safonov has teamed up with Jeremy Brautman to kickstart his LUNO THE MOONROVER on Kickstarter, with the aim to raise funds to complete the production of the rotocast resin figure with producer Crazy Label (who also weighs in on his own impressions here). US$4K is needed in three weeks' time to be able to fund the production of 50 figures, with the desired timeline to coincide with April 12th (the 50th anniversary of the first man in space).


LUNO stands 5 inch tall and features three-wheels. Luno was the mascot of Sergey's previous designer toy store in Moscow, Lunohod-1. We last featured Luno HERE in March 2010, and this is an interesting way to complete the project.
