What's Happening In The Art & Toy World (March/20/2011)
Two prints have been released this week, with proceeds benefitting Japan. The above is a brand new image from Alex Pardee named "Amity Smurf" (signed & numbered by Alex - available on zerofriends.com for US$50 per), while the below is a print from Jeremiah Ketner aka Smallandround, with sales of the first 5 prints benefitting Japan via his bigcartel. Limited to 30 prints in total, the number has since gone past the 5.

BLOOD BROTHERS is a three-man show featuring the at of Abe Lincoln Jr, MCA and Evoker, which launched at Wootini Gallery, with the show exhibiting thru March 31st, 2011. Here are snaps from the show, do contact jess@wootini.com for anything you might be interested in.
UK-illustrator Matthieu Bessudo aka McBess recent graced and performed a "Live Painting" event in Kidrobot London (Full-screen slideshow with 123 snaps / shown above) and has an upcoming solo show dubbed "Gut Grinder" in Rotofgui opening on March 25th (opening on the same day as Andrew Bell's "Love In End" show) comprising of print work and originals. Totally enjoying his style reminding me of the bygone indie-art of the 90s, ala Charles Burns and era of stylized reality I really missed. Looking forward to what he has to offer at the show.
