Superhero-Sunday: And Then We Have "VR Man"

"Superheroes". Folks all over the world have their own creations, featuring characters of select heritage (both earthbound or alien) possessing various extra-ordinary super-human powers. Some are unable to wield their power for good (and become destitutes or villains) while most are destined for greatness But all heroes possess one single attribute which transcends language and race: the ability to "inspire" - to inspire mortal-dom unto goodness and of the constant battle to enrich the lives of fellow human beings.

Singapore has "VR Man".

And as villains go, we had "Click-Click Man". (but actress Lisa Ang is always a "win" even tho she is happily married now). And one fine day, if I can find the polaroid of the first proposed-costume for VR Man somewhere in my hoard, you will KNOW the very definition of "WTH?" A cautionary tale it has become, although that was hardly anyone's intention in the first place - which makes it even more worrying. YeGawds but do we need "real" SuperHeroes in Singapore!
